XMouse360 is a freeware utility that lets you control your Windows Xp/Vista PC using your XBOX360 Controller. It turns your XBOX 360 Controller into a Mouse and Keyboard.

Someone found a bug in the previous version so I updated it a little:

This is in beta I take no responsibility for anything this program does and it comes with no guarantees whatsoever, it will probably be updated in future. It works but it is far from perfect.

Note: For Windows XP you need the XBOX 360 Drivers for PC available from Microsoft and an XBOX 360 Controller.

For Vista you may need DirectX 9 installed.

· A Button = Click
· X Button = Right Click
· B Button = Enter
· Y Button = MS On-Screen KeyBoard
· Left Thumb Stick = Mouse Move
· Right Thumb Stick = Mouse Scroll
· D-Pad = Keyboard Directional Keys
· Right Shoulder = Tab
· Start = Start Button
· Back = Escape

Version 0.1 (2007/11/10)

-Rewrite from "XBOX 360 Controller To Mouse" program.
-Shrunk size from 400k to 33k.
-Changed Icon.
-Added about box.
-Added exit in pop up menu in system tray.
-Removed vibrating.

awesome program .I personally would only change one thing in it and that would be having one button make the mouse go real slow for fine tuning when you need to click onsomething smaller so you could zoom on it easier. Thanks very much for what you have done tho I am broke on fixed income my mouse has a short in it and this is what I need thanks again

I will see what I can do, I don't have access to Xmouse360 source code at the moment. I will let you know if there are any updates.

I'm having problems with virtual keyboard. when i try to minimize/close screen of keyboard the controller stops responding. is there any way around this? also will your program have support for the xbox 360 text adapter, that would make web surfing so much easier. thanks.

Dude very cool. I use this cause a keyboard and mouse is kinda bulky in front of the TV. But is there a way to utilize the messenger keyboard pad you can get for these controllers?

Please contact me by email, I need beta testers who have the keyboard.

This is one of my favorite programs, especially after the recent update. This saved me from buying one of those $100 PC remotes for vista media center, and works even better. There is only 1 problem, and that is the controller stops responding when I try to close or minimize the virtual keyboard, if you can fix this it would be much appreciated. Also, if you add support for the xbox360 messenger keyboard this would be perfect. Thanks.

Cool, glad you like the new version.

To stop the controller from freezing in Vista run XMouse as administrator.

Messenger keyboard, I will have to find one to get it working. I have never even seen one though...
Take care.
